Tony Callen
Woods rider, Super Motard racer, and Ice racer.
Usually run #36
I started riding motorcycles over 20 years ago. Tyler and Pan (a couple of IceHoles) got me into racing motorcycles and now I spend most of my waking hours thinking about ways to entertain myself in the woods or on the racetrack. I've raced (loose definition) all over the west coast. Last year was my first year to race the Numb Bum and my second year as an IceHole. Ice racing is about the greatest racing adventure there is.
My limited list of accomplishments cannot describe the fun and camaraderie I have enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy racing motorcycles.
2002: Finished 4th in 400cc and under class of the Numb Bum. Missed half of the SuperTT motard series and still managed 8th overall in the Premier class and 7th overall in Middleweight, and managed to keep my sanity while going to 9 weddings, (questionable priorities).
Other accomplishments: Racing in the N.C.M.R.R.A in 1998 I managed a class championship and #9 club plate, as well as endurance race wins in the Northwest, racing humans usually half my weight. Over the years I've finished in or near the top 15 in the "Nasty Wench", "Son of the Wench", Grizzly, and the "Filthy Pup" hare scrambles.
I'd like to thank the people and businesses that have supported the IceHoles this year and in the past. Thank you.
